RITA SINORITA FIERRO, PH.D.

CEO, EVALUATION EXPERT

Heritage: I’m from in between. I was raised in between Italy and New York City. I am bilingual. A piece of my heart will always belong to Kenya.

The founder of Fierro Consulting, I am coach and social justice consultant who combines innovative and analytical thinking by bridging groups, networks, and arenas that may seem far apart. I’m able to provide conceptual clarity and strategy where others see chaos. I’ve been a facilitator since the age of 15 and an evaluator for the past 25 years. I’ve worked globally on a variety of projects, from leadership, to violence against women, to mental health, to criminal justice reform. I served on the Board of the American Evaluation Association. With a Masters in Sociology, a Ph.D. in African American Studies, and a certification as a Reiki Master Teacher and Family Constellations facilitator, I am deeply committed to being accountable to the communities we serve by making a difference we can measure and stewarding healing that makes a difference for racial justice.

HELEN MALLON

TRAUMA SPECIALIST/WRITER

Heritage: I was raised in the Quaker meeting. There, silent worship revealed Divinity, while silence about family trauma wounded me. Implicit racism in that world drove me to become an ally for racial justice.

I am an expert in childhood trauma who sees healing as not only available to everyone, but as a creative and spiritual odyssey. My writing on Medium is a celebration of healing. I am a trained Gestalt Therapist (Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia) and am deeply engaged in exploring collective healing through group process.
